Kapap

The techniques of Kapap, for years have remained secret and confidential  only to the military of the Israel Defense Forces (IDF). These techniques are designed, developed and aimed at survival. Although the Kapap was conceived before the Krav-Maga, they both share the principle that no one is allowed to inflict violently without incurring reactions. That being said, the krav maga differs from the kapap for application areas.
Another difference between Krav-Maga and Kapap is that while Krav Maga responds promptly and with strokes directed to sensitive points for inflicting the pain needed to facilitate the execution of the technique and to be able to move away safely, Kapap's techniques are designed to cause: knock- out (KO), lacerations, fractures, irreversible damages, so reactions that are considered  an excessive legitimate defense in normal street fightings.
Kapap's techniques like those of Krav-Maga, as we know them today, are the result of a continuous process of experimentation, adaptation and correction made in real and tested situations in the field. There are two reasons to fight: our own ego or our own life. Kapap is aimed at safeguarding its existence. The IKMI Kapap course is aimed at providing knowledge to safeguard our own safety through the development of offensive abilities.
The Ikmi Kapap course is suitable for those who are operating in a hostile and high-risk environment, and therefore need superior training in body-to-body combat.
The course is structured to provide both offensive techniques and defensive tools, studied by analyzing and simulating practical aspects of combat in situations where it is impossible to carry out firearms.

The Ikmi Kapap course is designed to teach the knowledge to develop and expand the skills and technical and psychological preparation that is appropriate for dealing with dangers, threats and aggressions, hostile environments, complex circumstances and high levels of stress.
